New Star Wars Figures Revealed on Fan Appreciation Day

New Star Wars Figures Revealed on Fan Appreciation Day

01/04/2020 0 By JoeB1

March 31st marked Hasbro’s first “fan appreciation day”, with several new 3.75″ and 6″ scale figures revealed across a select number of fan sites.

No, Green Card Back was not invited to take part this year – but then since we only launched today that’s somewhat to be expected!

The headline for 3.75″ collectors was the reveal of Rogue One’s K-2SO and Clone Commander Wolffe from Clone Wars.

K-2SO was revealed on Bantha Skull while Hasbro gave Clone Commander Wolffe duties to Star Wars Figuren.

Both figures are coming out in The Vintage Collection in August of this year, alongside the Power Droid revealed at New York Toy Fair.

According to Entertainment Earth, the full case breakdown will be:

  • 2x K-2SO
  • 1x Power Droid
  • 3x Clone Commander Wolffe
  • 2x “Redacted 96”

As is to be expected, the 6″ Black Series saw a few more reveals. A new Admiral Ackbar, Darth Vader and Beskar-armoured Mandalorian join “carbonized” repaints of the Imperial Stormtrooper and Boba Fett. Yet the clear winner of the 6″ figures was the Ewok Teebo – which looks like giving the Vintage Collection Wicket a run for his money as the best plastic rendition of an Ewok yet…

At the time of writing, the main UK etailers only have K-2SO, Clone Commander Wolffe and the two carbonized Black Series figures for pre-order. We’ll let you know as and when that changes.

What are your thoughts on the reveals? Any that you’re particularly looking forward to? Willing to campaign for Green Card Back to take part in the next Fan Appreciation Day?
